Bio

Natasha Goldstein-Levitas, MA, BC-DMT is a Philadelphia, PA Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist and Senior and Dementia Care Advisor with nearly 19 years of experience working with high functioning to cognitively and physically impaired older adults across various cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Her professional history includes healthcare administration; therapeutic program design, development, and implementation; care partner training; Dance/movement therapy (DMT) clinical supervision, and regular Dance/movement therapy facilitation, using a DMT and sensory hybrid approach. Natasha feels strongly that regular therapeutic engagement and a sensory stimulating setting are key components to promoting quality of life. She has presented her work at the Alzheimer’s Association’s New Jersey and Delaware Dementia Conferences, at the 2017 Philadelphia Spring Memory Care Forum, and co-presented at both the LeadingAge Meeting and EXPO and Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions in November, 2018. Natasha is a published author on DMT within senior and dementia care and a member of the Standards of Excellence (SOE) Council for the National Institute for Dementia Education.
